Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, and tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
Everyday begins a new journey. Living in the moment takes practice. We have today to be grateful, enjoy someone’s company, and be happy that you are engaged in the game of life. There are no promises so there can be no regrets. Living today each moment at a time will allow you to see the wonder around you and within you.
Today try not to take anything for granted. Acknowledge everything around you and within your life. Be grateful and show your appreciation. Say thank-you and acknowledge all the good things that occur as your move throughout your day. Know that your gratitude will attract more of what you are grateful for.

Be aware that you always have choice. Claim your independence and power to choose what is right for your life, moment by moment.
