Fear and anxiety are very real for a lot of people right now and while I’m not a shrink I can tell you that these things can take over your life if you let them. Too often we get freaky over the “what ifs”. The key lies in keeping things in perspective and knowing what you can control and what you can’t. If you are struggling with this take a moment and read today’s quote. Ground, center and clear and just breathe.
Most of us are experiencing “Stay at Home” and it really makes you think about the small things that we tend to take for granted. The pleasure of being able to just go somewhere, or the pleasure of talking to a friend or loved one in person. Life is so very different without the simple freedoms that we tend to take for granted. When this is over how will you view the simple things? Just something to think about.
Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
Blessings, Cat

MBG: The Importance Of Friendship In A Time Of Social Distancing
In times of crisis, we typically reach out to a friend or family member to lean on. It’s one of the reasons the outbreak of COVID-19 is so stressful, as our natural reaction is to gather our friends and find comfort in numbers is discouraged.
A positive omen in all ways.
1. Whether you saw them, held them, heard them, or ate them, they signify happiness, success in your profession, and true friends. Frogs are a symbol of luck in many cultures.
2. If you are hoping to meet a romantic interest, someone you currently know but do not notice may become a future partner.

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord.”

According to Andrew Schneider, the radical difference between personality awareness and soul consciousness is a difference in perspectives. Acquiring a soul perspective allows us to see things differently – and we always see a more inclusive, universal picture. This expanded view adds to an understanding, enjoyment and appreciation of life.
If I insist on hanging on to a personality perspective that is contrary to a soul perspective, the two perspectives will clash. This challenges me to find a way through to a deeper truth than I previously knew. This kind of tension between soul and personality positions is typical of the prelude to transformation that is a vital part of the soul journey.

It’s Simple: Cat’s Angel Message for February 5, 2020
February’s Theme: Trusting in the “unseen” and believing in yourself puts you on the path to manifesting your dreams and goals.
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.– Confucius
25: Change is an ongoing part of life and without it, life would be pretty boring. The way we see these changes is based on our perception. If we see these changes in a negative light it can create difficulties for us. But if we look for something positive in them then we grow in unimagined ways. If you are experiencing changes right now or changes are on your horizon the angels want you to know that things are going according to your divine plan and that these changes truly are for the best. They will bring you a much needed overhaul and a fresh outlook. So have faith in yourself and remember that the Universe is on your side and that you are safe and protected. Embrace these changes and flourish in this new cycle! Our keywords for today are “Change- Flow- Growth”
Today’s Spiritual Guides include: Archangel Uriel can help us to overcome obstacles by showing us where the solutions are that will lead to our success. He provides us with additional information that we need to make the most informed decisions we can. No problem is too great or too small for him to assist with. Uriel also helps us to gain spiritual understanding and creative insight. Today is a good day to simply touch base with him, ask for help if needed or simply express gratitude for the blessing in your life.
The Ascended Master Melchizedek helps to diffuse unpleasant situations that change sometimes creates. He teaches us that peace and healing can be found through color, so pay attention to the colors that draw you or feel relevant.
The Hawaiian goddess Pele reminds us that “Within you lives the sacred fire that gives life to your greatest dreams and passions. This part of you must be allowed to come forward, not smothered beneath fear, resentment or the expectations of others. Your fire will help you forge new paths!”
Our Sacred Stones for today include:

Believe It: Cat’s Angel Message for January 16, 2020
January’s Theme: Stay focused on your desires and not your fears or past happenings. Our thoughts are ready to manifest into reality so stay focused on where you want to go instead of where you’ve been.
Those who believe they can do somethingand those who believe they can’tare both right.– Henry Ford
116: Our thoughts and actions shape and create our reality and the Universe is reminding us that we have the power within us to manifest anything and everything that we need. Faith- Perspective- Focus are today’s keywords. Have faith in what you want to create (dreams and goals). Use your powers of perception and look for that “one good thing” and use it to create that first step. Stay focused on what you want and on your desired outcome and give them nudges and tweaks to keep things moving in the right direction and by keeping your expectations high you generate a mindset that embodies gratitude as it creates a positive flow of blessings. The biggest key to the creation process lies in finding and maintaining a balance between our material and spiritual sides. Learning to appreciate and be grateful for what we have allows us to clearly see new blessings when they arrive. You are worthy of receiving the blessings the universe has to offer, add your magick to that and watch paths and doors open up!
The Archangel Raguel helps us to find our power and brings clarity when we feel conflicted about what to do next by providing a boost of energy and by bringing order to your thoughts. He also aids in the letting go process which is essential to moving forward. Raguel reminds us that sometimes people can get “freaky” when they see you moving off in a new direction and helps to smooth the way by resolving conflicts and disharmony with those around us as we work with our creative magic.
The Ascended Master Buddha helps us to find our “Attitude of Gratitude”.By acknowledging what we have to be grateful for we are filled with joy and inner peace which encourages positive flow. He also reminds us of the important balance between giving and receiving. When we are balanced we find the patience and inner peace we need to go with the flow and can help us embrace the “Tiny Miracles” in our lives as well.
The Hindu Goddess Kali is a dark mother and goddess of death. Each time we let go of something that no longer serves us we are in truth embracing a “little death” and fear often accompanies the letting go process. One of Kali’s greatest lessons is through our worst fears lies the freedom we gain in conquering them. She says: “Dreams must be created with focus and intent. I will help you to embrace the courage and motivation that you need to see things through to a successful conclusion.”
Our Sacred Stones for today include:
Iolite, also known as “Poor Man’s Amethyst” it is a stone of vision that assists our intuition and aids us in setting things in motion by staying true to yourself and your path while freeing you from the expectations of others. Turquoise. This stone helps us with creative problem solving and promotes both balance and intuition. It is aligned with the Throat Chakra and teaches us to speak up for ourselves and speak our truth. Which can be a valuable asset when working with gratitude and our ability to create for ourselves.
Bright blessings for a magickal day!

About Cat’s Morning Bits: These daily posts are reblogged from various email newsletters that I receive each day.
“Laughter is the best medicine” so say the old saying. This is actually true, I mean who doesn’t feel better after a really good laugh. Laughter clears the mind and eases stress and anxiety and that’s a good thing! Today’s thought is a reminder not to take life so seriously. Work with what you can and don’t struggle with what you can’t and always look for the humor in every situation. Above all don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself and embrace the new perspective that it gives you.
Our thought for today reminded me of that well known quote “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.” Everyday life hands us things that are good, bad and everything in between and sometimes we have to take what life hands us and simply make the best of it. We have choices as to how we handle life. We can be angry or hurt over things that happen or we can look for that one good thing. How will you cope today?
