Balance Is Taught By Great Teachers: Cat’s Angel Message for January 18, 2018

118: Today is a “Self-Check” day. We are being asked to check our balance between giving and receiving. This is an important part of our self care routine because tipping the scale in either direction can cause us (and others) harm. By giving away too much of ourselves our levels of stress skyrocket and we become drained and tired and if we receive or take too much from others, not only do we drain them but our energy changes from positive and loving to needy and greedy. The Universe is asking us to perform this necessary balance check and if you are tipping the scales in either direction take time to ground and center then make the adjustments to free up and even out  your energy flow. This will help to open the doors to new things that you might miss out on otherwise. Remember,  staying balanced means that you have more energy to create your dreams and goals.

The Ascended Master Buddha teaches valuable lessons about balance and moderation. He understands that there IS such a thing as “too much of a good thing” and it is through moderation that our creative power is at it’s best. The Hindu goddess Lakshmi is associated with good fortune and prosperity. One of her lessons is that these things will come to us, on all levels, if we willing to embrace balance and work to attain what we need through the right means and Archangel Michael provides direction and the courage needed to keep ourselves on the right track. our Sacred Stone for today is Garnet. This deep red stone helps us to let go of old, outdated and harmful ideas, and patterns. This is important to our overall balance as sometimes we do things just because we can and have been allowed to get away with it. Garnet also promotes balance by helping to clear and re-energize the chakras.

Happy Thursday,

We are worthy of receiving great blessings and doing great things. So what most often holds us back from these great things? Ourselves….   most of our obstacles are created by us. Fear, lack of confidence, lack of motivation  are some of the main culprits. Your path is unique to you, just like mine is to me. The challenge for today is to look at your path. Ask yourself  “Am I where I want to be?” and “What is keeping me from getting there?” Look for the obstacles that you have created for yourself because the time has come to work through and around them. Take back your power and clear that path!

117: Today we have entered the New Moon phase which begins a new cycle so it’s a great time to ditch what didn’t work for you last month and make  some new plans. Along these lines the Universe is encouraging us to stick to our path. All the work we’ve done, the changes we have made and are making are starting to pay off. Make a conscious decision to move forward and  stay focused on the things you want to accomplish. The key is to let go of your worries and fears as you continue to push onward. Our angels understand that we sometimes get discouraged when results don’t happen right away. So they are reminding us to have faith in ourselves and in the loving energy of the Divine. The wheels are turning behind the scenes and things are falling into place.

The Ascended Master Babaji helps us to create a strong, clear line to the angels and the Divine Source. Archangel Raziel gently guides us through the manifestation process so that we are more adept at creating what need and want and the Greek goddess Artemis helps us to pursue our goals with focus. She is a Lady of the New Moon  and can help us set new goals to replace the ones that aren’t paying off , fell by the wayside or just didn’t work out. This stone which combines the properties of both Quartz and Tourmaline is an excellent grounding stone and helps to transform negative energy and thoughts into positive ones.

116:  As a reader one thing people ask most about is having their material needs met. The angels can and do assist us in seeing that our needs are met. However they will not supply us with MORE than we need. It’s up to us to make our own magick to gain the extras. We often forget that if we have a home, food, clothing, money to make sure our bills are paid or a car that gets where we need to go… then our needs are being met. Today we are being reminded  that YOU have the power to manifest anything and everything that you need. However our angels want to point out that while these things are important it’s also important to find and maintain balance between our material and spiritual sides. By learning to appreciate and be grateful for what we have we can focus on other important issues in our lives that also require our attention.

113: The battle against negativity shows up in our daily messages quite often. The angels only ask that you do the best you can because they understand that it’s not possible or even healthy to never have a negative thought. Everyday we come into contact  with the negative thoughts and energy of others or the kind we create for ourselves. The truth is that it cannot be avoided, it’s normal and it happens. The key here is to acknowledge these feelings, figure out what triggered them, and look for one positive thing in the experience. Then ask for divine help and let it go, turning it over to the angels to transmute into something better. Today we are being offered extra help from the Ascended Masters and the Divine Feminine. Remember that no problem is too big for them to handle so if you need help… ASK! 112: Winter is a time of introspection. By looking within we gain knowledge and insights of who we are, who we want to be and where we want to go. This helps to open the pathways for the letting go of old habits, which is the first step to personal growth. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy when it comes to these old habits. While they may “feel” comfortable the truth is that we hold onto these things out of fear of change. Remember, we can’t grow if we refuse to accept the changes that are offered.  As you explore your own inner workings remember to pay attention to any recurring thoughts and ideas. I love this quote! One thing I’ve noticed is that people don’t really listen anymore. Good listeners are rare birds, like our Wise Old Owl. If we want others to listen to us we must first be willing to listen to them. By being willing to listen we are showing our compassion and respect for others. It tells them that their thoughts and words are important. Listening is a two way street, in order to be listened to, you must first be a listener.
